How often is data from sources and portals updated?
Most property listings on CASAFARI are updated every 24 hours, as most classified portals and agency websites are crawled or synced once a day. In exceptional cases, such as technical issues or access restrictions on the source, updates can take up to 3 business days to appear on the platform.
What is updated daily
- Classified portals: Listings from real estate classifieds are scanned and refreshed to show current availability, pricing and status.
- Agency websites: CASAFARI connects directly with estate agency websites to capture new properties, updates and removals.
When updates can be faster
Updates may happen in real time or near real time where direct integrations or data feeds are available.
When updates can take longer
Delays are rare, but they can happen for these reasons:
- Technical issues: Temporary disruptions on the source website or changes to its structure.
- Access restrictions: Some portals limit how often data can be retrieved, which extends the update cycle.
CASAFARI monitors its data pipelines to identify and resolve sync issues quickly.
Good to know
- The exact timing for each website depends on the portal’s structure and access permissions.
- If a listing still looks out of date after 3 business days, contact support@casafari.com or go to Help Center > Contact Us inside the platform.
