Finance Analyst

We’re looking for a passionate, proactive and pragmatic Finance Analyst to join our team of 20+ nationalities. You'll grow with us as we strive to fulfill our mission and vision: to bring transparency to the real estate market with the cleanest and most complete real estate database in the world.

Our end products are: a metasearch like Trivago or Skyscanner, a daily market data feed like Bloomberg Terminal, and we are currently building property market analytics with the most complete database updated in real time.

Your mission:

As Finance Analyst, you will be a core part of the Finance team, providing support to the Finance & Strategy Manager. You will play a key role in the preparation of the investment rounds, and will actively participate in the running of the day-to-day finance operations. The position is a great opportunity for someone looking for hands-on experience within a finance function in a fast-growing technology company at an early stage of their career.

Requirements:

  • BSc / Master’s degree in Finance, Accounting or Management (preferred)
  • Proficiency in PowerPoint & MS Excel (mandatory)
  • Previous experience in online/technology/start up/VC environment (preferred)
  • Excellent verbal and written communication in business English; ability to communicate ideas in a clear, structured manner
  • Proactivity and autonomy - proven self-starter with experience of being able to work independently, juggling and prioritising across workloads and consistently meeting deadlines
  • Attention to detail and focus on quality
  • Ability to work and learn in a fast-paced and target-driven environment

Responsibilities:

  • Provide support in capital raising activities/due diligence efforts/investor relations
  • Perform analyses and reports as requested by the Finance Manager
  • Assist in monthly and quarterly reporting to senior management and investors
  • Provide support in the preparation of budgets/forecasts
  • Answer queries and provide assistance to stakeholders, including customers, colleagues and clients, as needed
  • Suggest changes or improvements and (re)design processes to increase accuracy, efficiency, and automation
  • Manage Accounts Receivable and liaise with clients
  • Other ad-hoc projects as required
